5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5: Dickens Downtown, Northport. Live music, period costumes and shopping.

5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7Retail Trail, downtown Tuscaloosa. Find holiday-themed items, discounts, and much more on the streets of downtown Tuscaloosa! You might even see Buddy the Elf!

6 – 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8: Christmas in a Railroad Town, Opelika. Live music, shopping, pictures with Santa and more!

5 – 8 p.m. Thursdays through Dec. 21: Main Street Fort Payne. Participating downtown merchants are staying open until 8 to offer special sales or discounts inside their stores.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, and Sunday, Dec. 10: Holly Days on Main Festival, arts and crafts vendors, special performances, a lighted boat parade and more at The Wharf, Orange Beach.

10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9: Christmas on Main in Fyffe.

2 – 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9: Christmas on Main in Oxford. Sales, promotions, horse and carriage strolls, live entertainment, movies at Simmons Park and a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony.

5 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12: Prattville Main Street Christmas. Shop local businesses for the perfect Christmas gift and then enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, carolers, hot chocolate and cookies, children’s make-and-take art projects, dancers, music and more, plus a visit from Santa!

5 – 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15Wetumpka’s Downtown Dickens Christmas. Walk (or ride in a horse-drawn carriage) around Wetumpka’s historic business district and complete your holiday shopping while being immersed in a Victorian Christmas, complete with carolers and musicians, period costumes and Father Christmas.
