How to Report a Claim

For your convenience, Alabama Retail Comp offers several convenient ways to report a claim.

Online

ARC understands that our members don’t always operate on an 8-to-5 workday, so we are pleased to offer the ability to submit a claim online. Online reporting is available 24 hours a day for your convenience and ensures timely claim receipt, allowing for early investigation and intervention by our claims department.

Completing the Alabama First Report of Injury online is the fastest way to initiate a claim with Alabama Retail Comp:

Download the State of Alabama Employer’s First Report of Injury form and fax the completed form to our Claims Department at 334.263.1976 within 48 hours of the injury.

Email

Download the State of Alabama Employer’s First Report of Injury form and email the completed form to our Claims Department at claims@alabamaretail.org within 48 hours of the injury.

Telephone

Claims can be reported by telephone Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by calling 800.239.5423.

Please be prepared to provide your business’ dba and corporate name, your ARC member number, a summary of the accident and injury as well as the injured employee’s name and contact information.
