Meanwhile, President Donald Trump this week released his budget plans, which would boost military spending by cutting a long list of other programs.
The Alabama Senate is expected to resume discussions on SB129, the education budget, when it returns from its tw0 week spring break on April 4. The state’s General Fund budget, HB155, next goes to the Senate budget committee.
