Both FedEx and UPS have increased their annual small package rate. The UPS rate increases took effect Dec. 29, 2014, while the FedEx rate increases took effect Jan. 5, 2015. • Dimensional weight pricing now applies to all FedEx Ground and UPS Ground shipments.
• FedEx Express package and freight rates have increased an average of 4.9 percent for U.S., U.S. export and U.S. import services.
• FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery rates increased an average of 4.9 percent.
• UPS Ground, Air and International rates increased an average of 4.9 percent.
