Business Process Manager
Santessa “Tessa” Willett began working full time as an Alabama Retail Comp claims clerk in June 2006 after working part time with the organization for several months. In 2008, she began working as a medical claims analyst and as support for the claims department. Her job description changed to business process manager in 2013. Her previous work experience includes working as a financial coordinator at Comprehensive Dental Care in Montgomery.
Tessa assists the policy and claims departments with work flow and training. She also is responsible for the safety and loss control program for the members of Alabama Retail Comp.
In 2017, she earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. The year prior, she received the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
Tessa is a 2010 magna cum laude political science graduate of Auburn University Montgomery. She received the 2010-2011 Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award from the AUM School of Sciences. She also received the Mary Evelyn McMillan Undergraduate Writing Award in 2011 for an essay she completed in 2010 while still an undergraduate. While in college, she was a member of both the political science and national honor societies.
She is a 2001 graduate of Wetumpka High School.
